You’ve reached such a beautiful milestone! Here are some things you can do to make the shidduch process smoother:

  1. Daven a lot – for yourself/your child and for others, because it’s all in Hashem’s  hands.
  2. Prepare a resume, with the right type of references. For help with your resume, click here.
  3. Reach out to Shadchanim, who will help you find the type of match you/your child are looking for.
  4. Reach out to a dating coach to help get into the right dating mindset.

How do I set up a meeting with a shadchan?

You can contact the shadchan directly using the contact information found here. Or you can contact our liaisons: Mrs. Rivka Sarah Jaffe and Mrs. Faith Neuman and they will guide you to the right shadchan. 

How do I know which shadchan is best for me?

Read each shadchan’s bio to determine which shadchan you’d feel most comfortable with. Or contact one of our liaisons: Mrs. Rivka Sarah Jaffe and Mrs. Faith Neuman – they’ll help match you to the shadchan that’s most suitable for you.

I don’t want to be a bother, but how often should I reach out to my shadchanim?

Most shadchanim appreciate a reminder phone call or text message once a month. It helps keep you fresh in their minds and if they meet someone who might be on target, they will have you/your daughter/son in mind.

Who needs a dating coach?

It's best for those who are unsure of themselves, who may not have the proper guidance. It’s very individualized.

When is a good time to start with a dating coach?

If you’ve recently started dating and feel you can benefit from extra guidance, came across an issue while dating, or seem to have reached a plateau in your dating, please reach out.
